HOW ACCURATE? ( I think it depends on which part of the
country you live in!) 2003 was the 117th prediction Phil has made. Only 14 times since 1887 has
Phil predicted an early spring. 94% of the time, he has seen his shadow.

that until 1966, the celebration at Gobbler's knob was not open to the public? Phil
would only predict to a few of his "followers." Celebrity status hasn't
affected Phil at all! He starred in a major motion picture with Bill Murray as his
co-star.
